Nexter present at UMEX 2020

Nexter is represented at the UMEX exhibition by its subsidiary Nexter Robotics, and its Training and Digital Global Solutions (DGS) entities. During this exhibition dedicated to UAVs, robotics and military digital solutions, Nexter wants to promote its digital offer and its innovation capabilities.
For nearly 25 years, Nexter teams have been working closely with the UAE land forces, especially in the fields of armored vehicles (LECLERC MBT program), artillery and ammunition. The aim now is to strengthen these partnerships with innovative solutions that meet the specific operational needs of the United Arab Emirates’ army.
The three entities (Robotics, Training and DGS) present at the show will exhibit:

  • NERVA© robots: Nexter Robotics will be exhibiting a version of the NERVA© LG with associated kits on its stand. The versatility and modularity of the NERVA© robot family offer to users excellent responsiveness in operation. Since their launch, NERVA© products have been a great commercial success. The French Army has acquired 56 robots in the frame of the SCORPION program. Similarly, the Canadian Army is about to receive 88 robots ordered in March 2019. Finally, Nexter Robotics is continuing to sell robots for export, particularly to Special Forces and intervention units.
  • Training modules: Nexter Training will be showing two immersive simulation modules. The first one, Virtual Operation Training (VOT), provides gunners a virtual training to use the CAESAR© artillery system. The second one, Virtual Maintenance Training (VMT), trains operators in the maintenance and repair of P20 guns.
  • The FINDMP© system: DGS is installed on the stand of International Golden Group (IGG), partner of Nexter based in Abu Dhabi. FINDMP© is an operations planning, preparation and monitoring tool compatible with any Battle Management System (BMS). It is a joint forces system that can be used at all levels of decision-making, from section to staff level. FINDMP© was, amongst others, acquired by the French Armyin order to test it before a possible deployment in the forces. DGS will carry out demonstrations of the FINDMP© system in its PC version.
